The myth, even today, becomes obvious as soon as you reach the island.

Many interesting buildings with a strong Venetian influence can be found along the narrow streets of Lakka. Lakka has another advantage for vacationers too- its abundant food scene. The innumerable little bars and taverns make sure that your hunger and thirst never get the better of you. Expect sumptuous fare, generous helping but low prices here in Lakka- the perfect combination for budget-conscious holidaymakers.
This village has a particular charm, given by its lively nightlife and interesting activities but it gets neither too noisy nor too crowded. The area close to the harbour, obviously, concentrates large tourist crowds, while the surroundings provide great scenes in a tranquil framework. In case of choosing somewhere else to settle, the village of Lakka certainly worth a visit and it is pretty easy to reach.
Worth mentioning here are the pebbly Harami Beach and the sandier Kanoni Beach that draw their share of excited tourists.

Logos also hosts the International Music Festival, a popular event with classical music that is celebrated from late August to early September every year.
The Spring Music Festival is another important occasion, as it hosts qualified Greek performers and takes place usually in May. In addition, occasional jazz concerts are held on the village. In spite of its small size, Logos also has the necessary tourist facilities, from enough accommodation options to traditional taverns. There you will find anything you may need during your vacation and you will enjoy a relaxing environment.
Antipaxos island, is the smallest of the Ionian Islands and belongs to the municipality of Paxos. The most spectacular sight in Antipaxos is the Voutoumi beach. While beaches are in abundance in all of Paxos, many are pebble covered so walking barefoot on the beach may not be a favourite activity for many. However, in Antipaxos, you have the perfect place to get your feet in the warm, inviting sand right here at Voutoumi beach. The place is feast for your eyes too with sheer cliffs surrounding it, deep indigo waters and the little taverns dotting the place, inviting you to settle down with a drink and let your senses be soothed with this masterpiece of nature.
Wonderful beaches with crystal clear blue-green waters and lush vegetation and outstanding natural beauty
The small beach of Alati (Salt) is located in the eastern coast of Paxos, at the beach of Kipiadi. Alati (Salt) beach is easily accessible via dirt road. It has pebbles and usually there are not many overseers.
Galazio (meaning light blue in Greek) beach is located on the east side of Paxos island. The beach which is surrounded by steep cliffs owes its name to the color of its crystal-clear deep blue waters. The coast is covered mainly by coarse limestone sand. It is an isolated beach due to the fact that it can only be reached by boat.
It is one of the most well-known beaches of Gaios, found only 500 metres from Gaios square. Giannas/Bartek beach is mostly pebbled with an amazing landscape that is worth admiring. It is covered in dense olive groves and a lush vegetation.
The beach Kaki Lagada will be found on your way just south of Gaios. A beautiful pebble beach surrounded by rocks. Small creek, clear waters, easy access by car, umbrellas for anyone who wants, clean beach that gives you a lot of positive energy.
Kipiadi is the largest beach of Paxos. You can access the beach by driving down the dirt track from the main road and when you reach the only house at the bottom, follow the easy path down the right-hand side of the house to the beach. Kipiadi is a lovely, secluded beach, rarely populated that offers clear and calm waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It is a long semi-circular bay, with some rock formations on the coast, with no facilities at all and surrounded by lush vegetation and olive groves.
The small beach of Kipo is located in the east coast of Paxos, between Marmario and Kipiadi. It is a small shingle with pebbles, which is found between two rocks. You can reach the beach by dirt road to Loggo. The road is both common and for the two beaches, Kipo and Kipiadi, and the signs will easily guide you. The road to Kipos beach ends at the stone fence of a private home, right behind the beach. Next to the fence there is a narrow walkway that goes to Kipo.
On the north side of the island, located near Lakka you can find beach Lakkos. A beautiful beach with clear blue water and pebbles. The olive and cypress trees bordering the road up to the beach You can reach it with a vehicle but we suggest you park before the big downhill and continue on foot.
Walking 5 minutes south of Loggos will find the beach Levrechio. With crystal clear waters and white pebbles. Behind the beach there is a restaurant that provides showers.
Erimitis is probably, the most dramatically beautiful of all the Paxos beaches. Made up of white pebbles and crystal blue waters that give the beach an exotic appearance. Eimitis is a pure natural heaven. It’s well worth a visit, especially during the sunset.
Marmari is an exquisite beach on the east coast of Paxos Island and very close to the village of Loggos. It is a pebbly beach with purely stunning waters, suitable for snorkeling and spearfishing. The beach is shaded in parts by overhanging olive trees and cypresses that literally touch the sea. Although very popular it is very quiet offering serenity and calmness.
On the north side of the island, you can find beach Orkos. A beautiful beach with clear blue water and white pebbles. The olive and cypress trees bordering the road up to the beach. It is quite easy to cross, only 10′ walking on a straight path.
The beach” Plakes” is located on the coastal road from Gaios to Mongonissi. A lovely little beach with dense vegetation and small pebbles to walk down a small footpath from the road. There are also rocks for sunbathing.
Monodendri is a lovely cove located 9 km north of Gaios,close to Lakka village. Surrounded by lush greenery, this beach has small pebbles and crystal clear waters. There are few umbrellas on the beach, bar and taverns at the shore, where you can enjoy a delicious meal or just a cool refreshment.
Harami beach is located in the northern part of the island near Kanoni beach, and has crystal clear and shallow waters, suitable for families with children. It is an ideal destination, especially for those seeking peace and relaxation. The clear sea along with the greenery around will surely impress you. The dense vegetation reaches the edge of the sea and the turquoise waters of the Ionian create a beautiful landscape. You can comfortably enjoy swimming or water sports and have a pleasant day. You can easily and safely access the beach by boat.

It’s impossible to resist flipping off your sandals to feel the pearl-coloured sand between your toes the minute you step off the boat and onto Anti Paxos. This sandy beach is perfect in all regards, with stunning green waters and picturesque verdant cliffs overlooking the bay. It is a tiny several bays coastline, right next to Gaios, with green pure water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. There are few sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach and also a canteen at the shore, where you can enjoy a delicious snacks or just a cool refreshment.
